Validating Information Architecture
To validate the new information architecture, we conducted a tree test in which users were presented with a text-based version of the defined hierarchy and asked to complete specific tasks. This process enabled us to assess the effectiveness of the structure and evaluate its 'findability' from the user's perspective. We later implemented the insights gathered from the test to refine the design.

Usability Test
We conducted remote usability tests with 5 participants (3 for desktop navigation and 2 for mobile navigation) to validate the design and identify potential issues before implementation. After the tests, we categorized the insights into key areas: Home, Product Grid, Product Page, Cart, and Checkout. The results were highly positive, with all users praising the design for being easy to use, modern, intuitive, and simple, aligning with our user-centered approach and design principles.
Implementation
After incorporating user feedback, I handed over the final designs to the development team, strategically phasing the project into sections while ensuring a simultaneous launch. This approach allowed for a streamlined implementation process and maintained the integrity of the user experience across the platform.
